The San Jacinto Valley has a strong and diverse business base in both manufacturing, agriculture, retail, and commercial business services. Business and development activities and opportunities include:

• The San Jacinto Gateway project is one of the preferred developments in San Jacinto Valley. When complete the project area will offer 1,700 acres of retail, office, business park, residential,  and mixed-use opportunities.
• Hemet currently has over 3 million square feet of commercial and industrial property under development review ranging from the 1.2 million square foot Garrett Ranch retail project to several new industrial buildings located near Hemet-Ryan Airport and new medical office buildings.
• Domenigoni Parkway – a new sixlane expressway, the largest roadway in and out of the San Jacinto Valley, connects the cities of Hemet and San Jacinto with the I-215 and with two major north-south arterials, Sanderson Avenue and State Street. Sanderson is slated to be one of the area’s major retail corridors,
• Tesco, the UK’s largest retailer and third largest retailer in the world has a $13 million warehouse under construction near March Air Reserve Base which will have the largest roof-mounted solar installation in California.The half-million square foot facility will minimize waste through recycling or re-using all shipping materials and energy consumption will be reduced through the use of modified refrigeration and lighting.
